Actually I came back some time ago it's just Far Cry 5 immediately took my time away from me so I didn't post anything. But I should be able to post regularly from now on. Work is starting to slow down a bit so I am starting to get a bit of time for my other nonsense.

So yes! Marriage. You know what? I feel like telling a story for this post. Do any of you know Gopher? The YouTube channel that does a lot of game play and modding tutorials. So way back when, I used to watch a lot of Gopher. First found him through his modding tutorials, then later his let's plays (He played his games with mods and he can be quite creative with them. He also role plays a little bit) I liked his accent and voice so naturally I started to follow him a little bit.

Then in one of his videos I heard about this concept which made me challenge the notion of marriage. I was still young and naive at the time so I didn't know that this was a thing. Gopher is a father but he does not have a wife. His children's mother is his girlfriend. They own a house together. I didn't bother to look into further details, but this made me wonder about the importance of marriage. If he can have children without marriage, then what really is the importance of being married in the first place?

I started looking into that and came to the conclusion that there is none. It's basically just a word, a title bestowed upon a couple to tell the world and society that these two are together. But do you really need it? It's not like it has special powers of keeping a couple together since divorces are a thing.

I guess it's more of a tradition than anything else.

So yeah, that tangent aside, yeah, the comic! So marriage is the one of the first things that the red pill looks at critically. Sort of like the way I looked at it when I first started questioning the validity of its existence. Then later on, upon further research, I and many others before me learnt that it's actually a bag of bull crap. On top of that, you are actually signing away half of your belongings. Statistics show most of the time women win custody of children as well as child support and alimony payments all go to the ex-wife.

'Our' house? Yea right. That's going to her too, even if the man bought the house with his own money. It's hers and there's not a God damn thing you can do about it.

Marriage is also fucking expensive and totally unnecessary. That money is better spent on your children if that is your final goal with having a female partner in the first place. And you've got to spend even MORE money on the divorce procedures. So you've wasted time and money on this bitch. Not to mention the emotional trauma you have to go through seeing as how, for better or worse, she was still a big part of your life. You basically made a big investment and it failed big time.

It's time to wake up. Do it on your own terms or GTFO. Well that's all I gotta say. I know that most of this information, most of you already know but I believe it's good to keep repeating them because the path we are taking can be hard sometimes. The word 'maybe' can sometimes be very alluring. But keep yourself focused on your shit and make your life about you. The grass isn't any greener on the other side. Suffering and misery is a part of life. It's not all that bad but you gotta keep it real.
