Fight!

This comic is based on this piece I made years ago

Let's just say I wasn't too happy with the situation I was in. One of the most challenging periods of my life.

I was in a course I didn't like. Had people that betrayed my trust. I was failing at everything. I thought I wasn't good enough. Blamed myself for everything.

I was staring at the ground from the ninth floor, thinking about taking that step. "Just one more step." And everything ends.

I didn't believe in it back then but it was true what my doctor said. It does get better. But if there was anything I learnt, it wasn't easy. It isn't meant to be easy. And it took a hell of a long time to get myself where I am today.

In my opinion, now more than ever men are facing a world that is hostile towards them. You see it everywhere, you don't have to look far. But as the comic went, you fight. You fight back with everything that you've got. You are a man and if there is anything a man can do, is improve. To get stronger. To get to a better place. Think smarter. All you need to do is try.

At the very least try and you'll be at a better place than if you were to stay down.

Made a new sub r/VeneerComics. I realize that I can't really make comics consistently because of my work. It takes up most of my time which leaves me with the weekends to really work on my comics.

But I can make quick sketches and practice pieces. I'll put them in that sub. As well as stuff that are unrelated will go into r/VeneerComics. If you guys are interested in my art and/or what I'm up to, r/VeneerComics is the place for you. Hope to see you there :)
